DomdigVIETNAM WORK CAMP LATEST NEWS: In January 2017, boys from Nairana will be joining other boys from Australia on a workcamp to K’Long in Vietnam to has assist with the construction of houses for disadvantaged families.

The participants will be helping the poor, spending time with mates, meeting new people and enjoying the life and culture of Vietnam.

Our main task will most likely be to build two homes in the village of K’Long. We will also spend some time taking in the sites and learning about the culture.

1)      It is the policy of Reledev, in accordance with regulations, that participants consult their GP as to what is the best vaccinations for the trip as they would be up to date as to the recommended advice given for each particular country.

2) If you have not already sent it already, we require a photo of the participant’s passport.  Please send it to

3) All parents of boys under 18 years old, are required to complete a medical and contact information form. This can be found here.

4)      The Payment of $2,300 is  now overdue. Please deposit this money to RELEDEV if you have not done so already

5)      All participants are to raise a minimum of $300 each for the equipment etc for the construction of the houses. This is due on 15 December.

6) All participants 18 years old and older need to get a NSW National Police Check and a Working with Children check by 15 December.

7) Travel insurance will be organised a few weeks before the trip.

8) Our flight departs Sydney 28 December 2016 at 9:55pm with Malaysia Air Flight MH140 and we return to Sydney 15 January at 10:45am

9) You will need to apply for the VISA at the Vietnamese consulate in Edgecliff. Please contact them. ( The fee is approximately $100. The form (with the correct dates and visa details) can be found here. VISAS should be arranged at least 2 weeks before our departure. You will need to hand in your passport as well.
