We back in Australia after an amazing twenty-one days spent living with and helping the locals in K’Long and Ho Chi Minh City. In the trip we have had a whole range of unique and unforgettable experiences. Vietnam Workcamp Update II

After our amazing but brief few days in Saigon it was time for a change of scenery and the next leg of our Vietnamese adventure. On Monday, January 9, after Mass, breakfast and some time cleaning up our lodgings we left for K’long. The bus trip took us most of the day and the highlight was certainly the incredible scenic landscapes provided by the Central Highlands of Vietnam. Vietnam Workcamp Update I

It is late on our last night in Ho Chi Minh City [Saigon]. Tomorrow we leave early in the morning for the 7 hour bus ride to K’long, a small country town near Dalat. These past few day have been non-stop; we will appreciate the trip and take it as an opportunity to catch our breath, hopefully some sleep, and savour some of the fantastic memories from the past few days since we arrived in this amazing city. Vietnam Workcamp 2012 Update

The Vietnam Workcamp 2012 is fast approaching. The group of 16 are busily fundraising, applying for passports and visas and getting vaccinations in preparation for what will no doubt be a wonderful trip.
